Allergic Contact Dermatitis

When the skin comes in contact with a substance that it is allergic tooth result can be a slightly itchy red rash or a widespread eruption of blisters. Poison ivy is an example of allergic contact dermatitis, where the oil from the plan comes in contact with the skin, and the itchy red lesions appear anywhere from one to several days later. The eruption has a life-cycle of approximately 3 weeks, but that doesn’t mean you have to suffer, as Dr. Sadoff will deliver a treatment that quiets the response to the plant for the duration. No more itchy, sleepless nights!
